Eurasia Arts Festival - August 21-23

Founded in 2009, The Eurasia Dance Society is committed to the preservation and promulgation of the traditional dance forms and styles of the Eurasian Region, from the Balkans through Central Asia, and from Russia to Iran. 

EDS includes a school system dedicated to educating and training children and youth in traditional Eurasian dance, as well as a performing ensemble whose primary goal is to share traditional Eurasian dance with the community of Washington, D.C. and its surrounding areas. 

EDS seeks to improve exposure to Eurasian dance through a series of outreach programs targeted at elementary, high school, and university students, and through concert series for both children and adults. 

The Eurasia Dance Society is currently undergoing the application to become a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
